My Morning Routine | Hair & Skin

Hello my lovelies,

For starters, I'm so sorry that the blog posts have been very slack and I haven't been uploading, I just haven't had the motivation :(
But now I have got my notepad and I'm going too start writing down all my blogpost idea's and I'm going too be uploading every Saturday from now on.

But on to this post, I'm going too be sharing with you my morning routine based on my hair and skin.

When I first get up, I like too check my phone and I always check Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat. I then head too the bathroom and that's where I brush my teeth and run myself a bath. I tend too wash my hair every 2-3 days, as I like too keep the natural oils in my hair because if you wash your hair every day you are stripping all the natural oils and your hair will start producing more and that's how you end up with greasy hair. So on the days I wash my hair, I use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner, because I have very dry and dull hair. You can purchase this from Superdrug for £3.99.

I then move onto my face and I use the Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. I use this too get rid off any dirt that's on my face and cleanse my skin too prepare for my makeup application. I love using this as it leaves my skin feeling so clean and smooth.

Once I get out the bath, I wrap my hair in a towel and let the towel soak up most off the water from my hair. I then use cotton wool pads and go in with a second cleanse using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, this just helps too take away any extra dirt off my skin. Once I have done that, I use the Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Remover just too take off my eye makeup that I didn't get off from the night before.

Once I have done that, I will then moisturise my face using the Garnier Moisture & Match Daily Oil-Free Moisturiser. I have a very oily T-Zone and normal on my cheeks, so I like using this too control the oils on my T-Zone. I recently switched from the Simple Oil Control Moisturiser to this one and so far I have been loving it.

Back too my hair, before blow drying I use the VO5 Plump It Up Heat Defense. This is a blow drying lotion, so you apply it too damp hair and it will give you volume, without damaging your hair. I like using this as my hair generally sticks flat too my head and has no bounce or volume too it what so ever, so this product helps it out a little bit and gives me something too work with when I go onto too styling my hair. I then apply 2-3 drops off the Argan Oil Intensive Hydrating Treatment to the ends of my hair as that is where the most damage is. I purchased mine from Savers, but I'm sure you can get them online or from Superdrug/Boots.

After I have dried my hair, I apply the TRESemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray and I will then straighten my hair. After my hair is straight I will either backcomb my hair for more volume or I will style my hair differently depending on how I'm feeling that day and I use the Loreal Elnette Satin Hairspray too finish off the style of my hair. After that, I then go onto applying my makeup and I get dressed and start my day.

Thank you for reading my lovelies, if you would like too see my everyday skin care routine, then please leave that down in comments below. If you have any other post idea's you would like too see, then leave them down below in the comments also.

Lots of love,
Natalie xo

Happiness In Each Day

Hello everyone,

Too start off with I'm so sorry that the blog posts have been held back. I've just been so busy with work, and applying for college again. But tomorrow I'm getting a new camera delivered, so I'm going too aim too have a post up every Monday and Saturday.

But onto this blogpost, I was inspired by Sprinkle of Glitter (Louise) to do this post. Recently Louise has been finding the happy's in each of her days, and I have been battling with depression this past month or so. And I find that we're all so focused on the bigger picture in life, that we don't see the little things that make us happy. So what I've been doing is looking for the happy's in each of my days and writing them down in my notebook, and reading them all at the end off the day and realising that the little things in life do actually matter.

My happy's for today:
Having a long phone call with my amazing boyfriend.
Seeing two of my friends, that I haven't seen for ages.
Getting so much done for my qualification at work.
Being able too open up too others with confidence about my problems.

Lots of love
